Service History
The Macchi MB-326H served as the RAAF’s standard jet trainer for decades, with many Australian military pilots earning their wings on the type. A7-047 is one of the examples that served at various RAAF bases across Australia.
Restoration
HFC volunteers completed restoration work on the Macchi, including surface preparation and repainting, prior to it going on exhibition at the Hunter Warbirds Aviation Centre. The work was completed to a professional display standard.
